A photo shoot with Bravissimo

Hello, jewellery enthusiasts! Yeah I know, I’ve been very quiet, (publicly at least)…

This is not jewellery related, but I’m sharing anyway.

In January, Bravissimo posted a question on their Instagram stories, that question was “what does being a Bravissimo girl mean to you?” So I answered truthfully, “feeling comfortable in a bikini for the first time.”

A few days later, they contacted me to tell me that they loved my answer and asked for my story, so I sent it to them. I typed up an A4 page and emailed it with photos. It’s now that it’s occurring to me that it was quite an intimate memory that I shared, but at the time of writing, I just saw it as being honest, while also sharing a memory of my grandmother. My story resonated with them so much that in February, they invited me to take part in a their 25th anniversary promotion. So, I and my cousin Dionne headed down to Oxford Circus, where I met Sonia (their brand executive), Abbie (the fitter), and Stu (their photographer). Sonia interviewed me, and we did a photo shoot.

They published my story and photos today, (30th April).
